CareerEncore ("CareerEncore," "we," "us," or "our") is an owner-led executive search and recruiting firm based in Greenland, New Hampshire. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through careerencore.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. If you submit your resume through the candidate form on the Site, we collect your name, email address, the subject and message you enter, and the resume file you upload (PDF or Word document). Anything you choose to include in your resume, such as work history, education, or contact details, is also collected.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting platform and analytics tools collect standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring website, and the date and time of your visit.
Information collected by third parties. If you click "Book a Free Hiring Strategy Call," you are taken to Calendly, a separate scheduling service. Any information you enter there is collected by Calendly under its own privacy policy.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
Review resume submissions and consider candidates for current or future search engagements
Respond to your messages and communicate with you about opportunities
Understand how visitors use the Site and improve its content and performance
Monitor search performance and keep the Site working properly
Protect the Site and comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use advertising pixels or share your information for targeted advertising.
How We Share Information
With hiring clients. As part of recruiting, we may share a candidate's information, including a resume, with prospective employer clients. We do this only with the candidate's knowledge.
With service providers. We use a small number of service providers to run the Site:
Wix hosts the Site, processes form submissions, and stores submissions in our Wix account.
Google provides Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console, which help us measure traffic and search performance.
Calendly provides scheduling for strategy calls when you choose to book one.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CareerEncore, our clients, candidates, or others.
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Wix sets its own essential cookies, which the Site needs to function, and performance cookies, which help keep the Site running smoothly. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information about how visitors use the Site, such as pages visited and time spent.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Blocking essential cookies may affect how the Site works. To opt out of Google Analytics across websites, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Data Retention
We keep resume submissions and related messages for as long as they are useful for current or future search engagements, or until you ask us to delete them. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of our analytics provider. We may keep certain information longer when required by law.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we collect, and we rely on our service providers' security practices for hosting and storage. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights and Choices
You may ask us to:
Tell you what personal information we hold about you
Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date
Delete your information, including a submitted resume

State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, the laws of your state may give you additional rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to know, correct, or delete it, or to opt out of certain uses. To exercise any rights available to you, contact us at recruiter@careerencore.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and job candidates in the United States. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date above.
